Northeastern Women’s Sailing is composed of about 10-15 dedicated and motivated student-athletes across all academic years and disciplines. ​We compete in both Fall and Spring seasons, sending sailors to anywhere from one to seven regattas a weekend, in locations from Maryland to Maine. Though we have a dedicated Women’s Sailing Team, Women’s team members are also on the Open Sailing Team and have the ability to compete in both Women’s only and Open events within the ICSA. All members of Northeastern Sailing practice together. We practice Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday out of MIT’s Wood Sailing Pavilion The Women’s team has seen great success the past few years, most notably qualifying for the 2022, 2023, and 2024 ICSA Women’s Fleet Race National Championship. This year, our team placed 15th in the country, the best result in team history! As our team continues to grow and develop under the leadership of Coach Jonathan Farrar, we are climbing in rankings and proving to be a team to watch out for in NEISA and the ICSA.
